Uniquely Rustique was a dream that became a reality back in 2008. Owned by sisters Jami and Niki Roethe, the shop was started because of a desire to sell high quality learning toys and teaching supplies. As former elementary school teachers, Jami and Niki knew firsthand how difficult it could be for parents and educators to have a place to purchase these things outside of a large city. After 9 years of teaching, the Rustique Discount Center came up for sale in Fairfield. Since it was an established business, selling silk flowers and home décor items, the sisters decided to take the plunge, purchase the business and make it their own, adding what they felt was important, filling a need in the community. Since then, the business has expanded to sell Bibles, inspirational gifts, and church supplies. Uniquely Rustique prides itself on providing an enjoyable, truly unique shopping experience at prices that are affordable for the community. Jami and Niki strive to provide outstanding customer service in an environment that encourages customers to keep coming back.
